Version 3.5 of PHOTOMOD includes new option for scanned imagery processing: it allows processing high resolution IKONOS images of GEO level. Multispectral (RGB) images with radiometric resolution 11 bit/pixel in each channel can be imported in TIFF or GeoTIFF format. Images are orientated using ground control points (about 10 points per image). If an external DEM is applied, the orientation can be succeeded by precision orthorectification. The sufficient overlapping of images allows to produce value-added stereo products: 3D terrain features, DEMs etc. As experiments with real data have shown, the algorithm provides processing accuracy equivalent to image resolution (according to RMS on GCPs). |

Version 3.5 of PHOTOMOD includes the rigorous algorithm of ASTER imagery processing for both single images and stereopairs. Input data is VNIR3B and VNIR3N strips of 15 meters resolution in standard delivery file format HDF.
Geometrical sensor model as well as initial approximations of the orbit and sensor orientation are restored using additional information coming along with the images. During adjustment the elements are being refined using ground control points (recommended amount of GCPs - about 10). The algorithm provides processing accuracy equivalent to image resolution (according to RMS on GCPs). |

'Verisel projects' company has won a tender in lot 5-C of LARIS project of International Bank for Reconstruction and Development on delivery of Integrated Compute Assisted Photogrammetric Processing Systems for Russian Federal Land Survey Cadastre centers in Irkutsk and Saratov.
The hardware/software sets, supplied in frames of the tender will be equipped with PHOTOMOD digital photogrammetric systems, produced by Racurs.
In total 28 working places for vectorization and orthorectification will be delivered.

MapWorld Technologies Ltd. is a Hyderabad based company specializing in supply of products, services and training in geoinformatics technologies. Introduction of the PHOTOMOD system for Indian specialists has been done at Workshop on Digital Photogrammetry in Hyderabad on 29th July, which was held by MapWorld Technologies specially to launch PHOTOMOD into Indian photogrammetric market.
